Dream Home Raffle Awards $24,000 in Prizes at Early Drawing

Palm Desert. Seal Beach resident Candice Campbell won one of two $10,000 prizes awarded at an early drawing of the Palm Springs Dream Home Raffle conducted by DesertArc. She was one of 18 lucky people who were awarded prizes at the event held Saturday May 6 at the Classic Club in Palm Desert. Palm Desert Mayor Robert Spiegel drew the winning ticket. Cherylyn Van Sloten of Rancho Mirage also won $10,000.

The Dream Home Raffle is a fundraiser for DesertArc, an agency that serves 600 people with developmental disabilities who live in greater Coachella Valley. The ultimate prize winner could win a La Quinta Dream Home or up to $1,000,000 cash. Early entrants have already won prizes worth $100,000. In addition to the grand prize, $112,000 more will be awarded to ticket holders. There are 148 raffle prizes and more than 80 valuable door prizes for those who attend drawing events.
