Direct Care Staff/Bus Aide

Responsible for working in a group setting to ensure that the Clients meet daily objectives, i.e., hygiene needs, behavior issues, assisting with meals, staying focused on the task, and repositioning clients as needed. Staff will be responsible for daily objectives for any off-site activities. Direct Care Staff will maintain the work site in a neat and clean fashion and is responsible for all work activity materials. Charting of clients' daily progress will be done on a daily basis. Bus Aide will be responsible for physically aiding clients with boarding and exiting buses and overseeing the behavior of clients during transporting to and from Desert Arc to avoid any distraction to the Bus Driver. Bus Aide must be alert to the client's physical and emotional needs and must be prepared to react promptly to avoid any behaviors during transportation.
